https://youtu.be/gxlNhxEayFs On the 4th of February 2019, Achuo Christopher and wife Mirabel Achuo were shot and killed in their home in Ngoh village, Wum-Cameroon by the security forces. Their homes were razed/burnt. They leave behind 9 homeless children, ranging in age from three months to 17 years old. Not only were their parents killed, some of the children also sustained serious injuries from the shootings. Late Christopher was my family.
On the 14 of March 2019 in Kooh village, the chief's palace was attacked by the security forces and set ablazed`resulting to children running into bushes. Fang Patrick and his 17 year old son Premus Fang, and Kebie Peter were shot and killed. Agnes Achuo Ndum and Agnes Achuo Nsen( both great grand mothers) were both shot {see videos) Agnes Achuo Nsen later died on 3/21/2019 of complications from gun shot wounds. There are about 15 children who have been left to feign for themselves after this senseless killings by the security forces. My maternal family is from Kooh village. We are Kooh. The entire Wum needs you help.
I am an RN, BSN, PHN in the United States born in Cameroun living in the States for decades and had been visiting Cameroun in the past (before the killing started in 2017) providing assistance to villagers in the Wum area such as free blood pressure screening, wound care dressing, home care visits etc, l know the area very well. I have done some charity work with some volunteers in the Wum area a few years back. l have reliable contacts on the ground that l trust and who will provide detailed updates through vidoes, pictures, whatsup communications about how the funds are used. With the funds l will make sure these children go to school and will be able to view school report cards from their school teachers once the killings stops. The Palace in Kooh will be rebuilt to enable these children who are now in bushes to return to a home.
We are a team and together we can coordinate and prioritize managing the funds.
The funds from this drive will provide medical care food, shelter, education, and sustainability to these children who have been orphaned by the killing of their parents.
This support will help mitigate the suffering and trauma these homeless and orphaned children are currently going through. It will show them that in spite of their loses, there are people in the world who still care and are willing to support them in these difficult times.
We will be very grateful as this support will alleviate some of the pain and anguish we feel as we struggle to support these villagers on our own. Thank you for taking the time to read, and for your support and generosity in support of these children. Kooh village - Wum will be rebuild because of your support. Thank you.
