We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend, co-worker, and nurse Shyloh has recently been diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. This news has come as a shock to all of us who know and love her. She’s a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a deeply valued part of our Infusion Solutions family.

On Friday, Shyloh received the devastating diagnosis. Her cancer has spread to her liver and lymph nodes. While her condition is not currently curable, she is beginning treatment to give her as much time as possible. She’s already met with her oncology team, will be receiving a port this week, and begins chemotherapy shortly after. The road ahead includes a liver biopsy, genetic testing, and possible consultations with surgical teams. Her prognosis, based on current information, is about 30 months—if she tolerates treatment well.

If you know Shyloh, you know her strength, her kindness, her compassion, and her unwavering commitment to caring for others. She has spent her career helping patients and lifting up her teammates. Now, it’s our turn to help her.

As she begins this fight, she will be stepping away from work indefinitely and focusing fully on treatment and time with her family. Medical bills, travel for appointments, and the loss of income will bring added stress during an already overwhelming time.
