Support Shah's Research After Robbery

Late Friday on Sept. 20th, Shah, an international scholar, was robbed at gunpoint (near Russell and Lake Blvds) while walking to his apartment in west Davis from the main campus. Shah is from Pakistan and is here studying agriculturally important insects. The robber stole his wallet with his rent money, and his backpack with his laptop, external hard drive and all his research data. Fortunately he was not harmed. The data is of course priceless, but we hope to replace the items. We have set-up this Go Fund Me to help Shah quickly get back on track with his research and to show him that our community cares. The city police were called to the scene and  UC Davis authorities were notified.
