Hi! My name is Angelic and am from The Gambia. A proud owner of Angie’s kitchen. I am so passionate about cooking and all it takes to be a good cook and I went through a culinary school (the first picture you can see is from that school) to learn not just how to cook but instead how to do it professionally and hygienic cooking.

My Story – The Heart Behind Angie’s Kitchen

Cooking is more than a job for me — it’s my calling. It’s the way I express love, serve others, and honor God with the work of my hands.

From a young age, I found joy in the kitchen. Watching meals come together, seeing people smile after the first bite — that’s where my passion was born. Over the years, that passion grew into Angie’s Kitchen — a small food business with a big heart.

When I started, I had no professional equipment — just faith, determination, and a deep love for what I do. Everything I prepare, from meat pies to full meals, is done by hand, with long hours and a lot of physical strength. I knead dough manually, blend ingredients in small batches, and cook with basic tools — sometimes working into the night just to meet customer needs.

It’s exhausting. The work is heavy, the time it takes is draining, but I do it because I love it — because this is my dream

Why I’m Asking for Your Help

I have single hand invested a lot of money and every small amount I earn goes back to reinvest in the business to see I get all that i need but it’s not easy without a helping hand. Therefore to keep up with growing orders and continue delivering high-quality food, I need your help to purchase essential kitchen equipment:

• Deep chest freezer (to store more ingredients and reduce spoilage)

• Conventional oven (to bake in larger, more efficient batches)

• Dough mixer (to relieve the physical strain of hand-kneading)

• Commercial blender (to speed up food prep)

• Stove

• Small kitchen equipment (trays, bowls, utensils, etc.)

These tools will transform how I work — saving me time, energy, and allowing me to focus on what matters most: creating amazing food with heart.
