Every child deserves access to education without facing barriers like period poverty. Yet, for many school children around the world, menstruation presents a significant obstacle to their attendance and academic success.

Chamazi village in Dar es Salaam has 150.000 inhabitants, 50% of them are children and youth. Poverty is widespread. Without access to proper menstrual hygiene products like pads, girls are forced to stay home during their periods, missing out on valuable education and opportunities to learn and grow.

Our mission as NGO Community Health and Social Welfare (COMHESWA) is to ensure that every child has access to the menstrual hygiene products they need to stay in school. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of these children by providing them with reusable pads.
