My friend Sara Whiting was in a terrible car accident on October 30, 2025, in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. The accident was so severe that emergency responders had to cut her free from her car and rush her to the hospital. Once there, doctors discovered that Sara had suffered multiple broken bones in her right ankle, drop foot on her left, several breaks in her pelvis, two broken ribs, a broken wrist, and a broken tailbone. The extent of her injuries required countless surgeries, and she spent six weeks in the hospital fighting to recover from the trauma and pain.
After her time in the hospital, Sara was moved to a care home to continue her recovery. She is expected to remain there for at least another six weeks, and even after that, she will be unable to walk for about three more months. Throughout this ordeal, Sara’s family has been doing everything they can to keep up with her bills and expenses while she is unable to work. However, the financial strain is becoming too much for one family to handle alone.
If you could find it in your heart to donate, even a few dollars, it would mean so much to Sara and her family. Your support will help cover her expenses until she is able to recover and return to work. Every bit of help is deeply appreciated as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
