Kathy loved life to the fullest. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, colleague and friend to so, so many. With her vivid insights and "tell it like it is" way about her, she taught us all so much about life, love, joy, struggle and even dying.

In her final days, she was clear as could be about a few things. She stressed, with her beautiful pragmatic side, to "Please tell people to not spend precious money on flowers that won't last." Instead, she wanted all focus and support put towards her most precious and beautiful 8-year old daughter, Ruby. Ruby is an incredibly smart, gifted girl with her mom's beautiful mind and kind heart.
