My name is Robyn, and my parents desperately need your help.
(Please don’t tell them I am doing this—they would never ask themselves.)
My dad has been diagnosed with Class 2 Uveal Melanoma, a rare and very aggressive form of eye cancer with a high risk of spreading. To give him the best chance of preventing metastasis, he has been accepted into a promising clinical trial. While this trial offers hope, it does not cover the costs of time, travel, or lodging.
The clinic is nearly 4 hours from their home, and the treatment schedule is demanding—weekly visits for the first 3 months, followed by every 3 weeks for the next 9 months. This means countless long drives, overnight stays, and time away from home and work (yes, both of my parents are still working), all while managing the physical and emotional toll of cancer.
I am asking for support to help cover these ongoing travel and related expenses so my dad can focus fully on his health and give this trial every chance to succeed.
Every dollar truly makes a difference, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can give.
