Rhett’s sudden passing left a space that can’t be filled, not only in his family’s hearts but in the lives of the many people who loved him and relied on him.

There are some people whose friendship just makes life better. People who show up, lend a hand, make you laugh, and remind you what real kindness looks like.


Rhett Del Chatelain was one of those people.

Rhett was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was the kind of man who could literally fix anything, lighten any mood, and never hesitated to help someone. His humor was one of his superpowers, he could build or repair just about anything, and his heart was even bigger than his skillset. He was the ultimate Star Wars nerd!

This fundraiser is an opportunity for those who knew and loved him to show that same generosity and support that Rhett showed so freely to everyone else.

Funds will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and helping ease the ongoing healthcare costs for Rhett’s wife, Shantel and their beautiful children (Kade, Ryker, Makhai, and Mylla) as they navigate the road ahead.
