Support Randy Rankin and Family Through Cancer Crisis
Spende geschützt
Hi, my name is Lita, and I’m fundraising for my extended relative Randy Rankin of Erie. Randy is a kind, hard-working “Mr. Fixit”—a gentle giant who loves helping and repairing things. Now he needs our help. At just 45 years old, Randy is suffering from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer which is a painful and aggressive disease. He’s had to stop working, and as the sole provider for his household, his family is now facing a financial emergency.
You might be asking about Randy, he:
- Grew up attending Pfeiffer-Burleigh Elementary and Central High School
- Acted in stunts for the Roadhouse Theater and Len Kabasinski’s horror films
- Worked for 17 years at Bello’s Grocery, even through snowstorms, to make sure people had food and supplies
- Has been married to his wife Donna for 24 years
- Loves fixing cars, cooking, and playing basketball
- Has two twin sisters Jennifer and Julie
- Became a Christian later in life
- Used to sing Johnny Cash tunes with his best friend Christian “Lestat” Tirak, who is now with us in spirit.
Randy is someone who shows up—for his family, for his job, for his community. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Randy’s cancer diagnosis has not only taken a toll on his health—it’s also made it impossible for him to provide for his family. He’s worried about the mortgage payments, utility bills, and keeping the basics covered while he undergoes treatment.
We’re urgently trying to raise $5,500 to cover essential expenses:
• Housing sustainability
• Electricity
• Water
• Insurance
These funds will help stabilize his family’s situation so Randy can focus on what matters most: fighting this disease and spending time with his loved ones.
Every Dollar Counts
Please consider donating whatever you can. No amount is too small. If you’re not able to give, sharing this page with others can make a huge difference.
Give Randy the peace of mind he deserves. Thank you for your kindness and support.
