Support Ramon’s Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

Jerry met Ramon via Angel flight and flew him home after a treatment at MD Anderson. Ramon was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and laid off from his construction job while he was undergoing chemotherapy.

Ramon and his wife, Joey, are raising three beautiful daughters - Georgia, Frankie, and Genevieve. With no income, Ramon is about to lose his home and facing homelessness and having his wife and children go to a women’s shelter. The family has exhausted all of their financial resources over the past three years and need our help.

Cancer treatment is not only physically and emotionally draining but also financially overwhelming. With the loss of income, the burden has become almost insurmountable. Ramon has been the sole source of income for the family as Joey is a stay at home mom and unable to earn enough money to cover childcare expenses. Ramon and Joey are struggling to cover the basic costs of living, including their mortgage, utilities, and daily necessities, on top of the mounting medical bills.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to support Ramon during this challenging time. Our goal is to raise $25,000 (or more) to help cover:

- Medical expenses (chemotherapy, medications, doctor visits);

- Daily living expenses (mortgage, utilities, groceries);

- Transportation to and from treatment sessions; and

- Any additional support needed during recovery.
