For the first time in our history, we are reaching out to our community for support. PIHMA.edu has been dedicated to creating healers and providing healing for the past 30 years, but recent changes in federal financial aid and the challenging economy have put us in a difficult position. Like many schools and businesses, we are facing financial obstacles that threaten our ability to finish the semester strong.
Due to the loss of access to our primary facility and unresolved financial constraints, PIHMA has publicly disclosed an anticipated closure at the end of April unless circumstances materially change. In response, the institution is operating under an orderly wind‑down framework focused on student safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible academic record preservation.
This fundraiser is intended to support student‑focused and compliance‑related needs during this transition, which may include:
-Costs associated with student completion or teach‑out support
-Clinical coordination and supervision expenses
-Academic record preservation and transcript security
-Required compliance, legal, and administrative costs
-Transition or wind‑down expenses
Any continuation of operations, partnerships, or institutional rescue would be subject to regulatory approval and cannot be guaranteed. Funds raised will be used responsibly and in alignment with applicable regulations and institutional obligations.
We are deeply grateful for the support, encouragement, and care shown for our students and community during this challenging time.
