Pierre Knox is my firstborn and a devoted single father to two wonderful girls, ages 11 and 13. Since birth, he has raised them on his own, providing them with love, stability, and the foundation every child deserves. In 2016, Pierre was diagnosed with advanced Congestive Heart Failure. Over the years, the strain and stress of life’s challenges took a toll on his health. Despite these various trials and tribulations, Pierre never wavered in his commitment to his daughters, stepping up when they needed him most and giving them everything he could.

Now, Pierre is in end-stage heart failure, awaiting a heart transplant in the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital. His journey to recovery will be long—six to twelve months. The financial burden is overwhelming. The funds raised will help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance, stabilize his vehicle so he can get to and from appointments, ensure his daughters can get to school, and help with daily living expenses. This support will also provide a bridge as Pierre works to regain his independence and return to the workforce.

As his mother, I have sacrificed everything to provide him with good health insurance, but my resources are exhausted. I am grateful for the blessings I have, but now I need your help.
