I’m reaching out to ask for your support for Phyllis, a beloved matriarch who is courageously battling stage 3 metastatic colon cancer that has spread to her liver. Phyllis has always prioritized the needs of others, especially her children and grandchildren. Now, she faces the fight of her life, and she needs our help.

Her Journey So Far

In November, Phyllis received the life-altering diagnosis of metastatic colon cancer. Since then, she has undergone her first surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and numerous doctor visits. Despite the physical and emotional toll, Phyllis and her family remain hopeful and determined.

The Road Ahead

Phyllis is scheduled for a critical surgery on December 20th at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. This procedure (the first of two), which includes a liver resection, possible ablation, irreversible electroporation, hepatic artery pump placement, and cholecystectomy, is a pivotal step in her treatment plan. While the surgery offers hope, it also brings substantial financial challenges, including medical expenses, travel costs, post-operative care, and lost income for her family during surgery and recovery.
