Hello everyone, my name is Brian Stockert.

At the end of February, I suffered two massive strokes, followed by another stroke in mid-March. These events have completely changed my life. I am now partially blind, unable to drive, and unable to return to full-time work.

I currently serve as the Pastor of Hope Crossing Community Church in Carson City, Nevada. Before this, I spent my career as a counselor and administrator in the California Community College system, dedicating my life to helping others—especially individuals recovering from brain injuries and strokes. Now, I find myself on the other side of that journey.

Unfortunately, I do not have medical insurance, and the cost of emergency care, hospital stays, and ongoing treatment has created overwhelming medical debt. In addition to these expenses, I am now facing daily living challenges as I adjust to vision loss and limited independence.

I am humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward medical bills, rehabilitation, and essential living expenses as I focus on recovery.
