Bringing Hope to Our Family to Endure Ghazza Agony

Dear wonderful humans,
Can you imagine every dollar you donate, no matter how small, weaves a tapestry of hope for my mother enduring the tragedy in Gaza? Yes, each act of kindness, like a delicate thread, strengthens the fabric of resilience and compassion. Together, we create a lifeline of support, embracing those who need it most.
My name is Ramsay AbuAbdou, Palestinian-Swedish Citizen. and I am helping my 58-years old mother of 11 children, my mother's name is Ihsan AbuAbdou to access emergency assistance ASAP, so she and 10 of my siblings can flee and endure the war where they safety is my utmost concern; in addition to provide them with basic means of surviving and continue surviving the ongoing tragedy in Gaza.
Since our house which located in Palestinian Refugee camp in the west of Gaza City called "Beach Camp" has been partially destroyed with zero basic service and is currently enduring desperate and unbearable conditions in Al-Al-Shifa Hospital as "Alternative Boob Refugee Shelter"
Our entire neighbourhood is destroyed, we didn't even recognize that it was our neighbourhood from the huge damage. My younger brother Yahya AbuAbdou was able to document our house with photos and video.
Despite facing numerous challenges, including being displaced five times and narrowly escaping fires over a dozen times, my ill mother, currently living in a tent, remains unwavering in her commitment to positively impact the lives of others.
My mother Ihsan dedicates her days to volunteering at a local shelter, where he assists over 125 displaced Palestinians. Affectionately known as "the mother of the Needy", Mother Ihsan remains compassionate and dedicated to community service, despite her own hardship struggling with two chronic diseases.
This resilience is inspiring, but the constant threats of violence and their living conditions have taken a toll on my mother's and her family, especially her young son Mahmoud who is grappling with trauma after a deadly explosive accident on 15th October 2023.
The Request
Today, we reach out to our global community, seeking your support to raise enough funds to help my mother Ihsan and 10 members of our family to evacuate temporarily to Egypt or Jordan in this challenging time. Your generous donations will contribute to covering the costs of travel arrangements and initial resettlement expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a significant role in facilitating my mother Ihsan and our family's journey to safety and stability. Your support is more than a lifeline for my mother Ihsan and our family; it is a powerful testament to the strength of human compassion and international solidarity.
Our Connection
We will collect funds globally and transfer them to Gaza via Western Union to Jordan and from there, we will transfer to north of Gaza via AbuSheikha Transfer Company in Amman who have a local partner and agency in north of Gaza city to pick up cash and deliver them to my mother hand. We have done this successfully when I transferred the donation from our family overseas in the last 10 weeks.
We humbly ask for your support to help us raise $ 7 351,67 US Dollar which will cover most of the expenses needed for our safe passage from Gaza through the Rafah crossing. and temporary settlement in Egypt/Jordan.
About the Fundraiser:
Ramsay AbuAbdou is Palestinian-Swedish Citizen, over the course of 12 years. He has a wide range. where he has extensive knowledge working with International NGOs and CBOs, In addition to the time between 2007-2010. AbuAbdou worked as Project Coordinator at United Nation-Gaza Field Office in the planning, execution, and completion of Psychosocial Support (PSS) Recreational Activities Programme, wherever his mission was helping UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) delivering a $12 million programme by means of offering breath of fresh air for 250,000 Palestinian Children/young People Refugee allowing the true treasures of innocence kids to play, imagine, and explore freely with laughter, curiosity, and boundless energy. ✨ , UNRWA’s Summer Games Programme was an opportunity to show a bright hope that led to distance them from the political disaster and humanitarian crisis that has be fallen the Gaza Strip.
