Hello! We are Noah Goodman and Raga Chilakamarri, two friends living in Madrid. We are currently developing a short film called (for now) “Provenance”. The film is loosely inspired by our experiences as expats navigating the pains and pleasures associated with moving to this beautiful, sunny city. We are working with a team of friends, classmates, colleagues, and local actors, all eager to chip in their talents, time, resources, and energy into this project without monetary compensation.
BUT as much as we are hustling and relying on favors and borrowed equipment, in order to make this film the way we want to we do need some money! The funds we raise will be going to rental fees for lighting and camera equipment, transportation of the equipment, payment for locations, and a small budget for props and art direction. Doing things as cheaply as we possibly can, we think we probably need about $1500 (~€1400).

Hola! Somos Noah Goodman y Raga Chilakamarri, dos amigos viviendo en Madrid. Estamos haciendo un cortometraje titulado (por el momento) “Procedencia”. El corto está inspirado en nuestras experiencias como extranjeros intentando navegar lo bueno y lo malo de mudarnos a esta ciudad de tanta sol y belleza. Estamos trabajando con un equipazo de amigos, compañeros de clase, y actores locales, todos dispuestos a contribuir su talento, tiempo, recursos, y energía sin compensación.
PERO, aunque pedimos favores y hacemos todo lo posible para evitar pagar, para que el corto sea como queremos necesitamos un pequeño fondo! El dinero cubrirá el alquiler de equipamiento de iluminación y cámara, el transporte del equipamiento, el pago de unas localizaciones, y una pequeña cantidad para el atrezo. Aunque haremos todo lo más barato posible, creemos que necesitaremos unos $1500 (€1400).
