Support Our Family’s Healing Journey After the Accident❤️

On August 30th, my dad and baby sister were involved in a life-altering car accident. They were T-boned by a car going 107 miles per hour, causing their vehicle to spin multiple times. Although my little sister was safely buckled in her car seat, the impact was so severe that she was thrown from the vehicle and landed in a ditch. She was unconscious for a time and spent over a week in the hospital.

Thankfully, she is home now, but she is facing a long road to recovery. She was sent home in a wheelchair, not because she’s paralyzed, but due to the fractures in her leg and arm. She will require extensive care as her bones heal. In addition to her fractures, the impact caused retinal bleeding and severe swelling, which has left her cross-eyed and suffering from severe headaches. My dad and his wife now have to take her to specialists for ongoing treatment to help with her vision and manage the pain.

My dad also sustained significant injuries and recently underwent surgery for a broken shoulder. Unfortunately, like the other driver, my dad did not have insurance at the time of the accident, leaving him and his family in a very difficult financial position. With medical bills piling up and the need for a reliable vehicle for doctor's appointments and therapy, they are struggling to make ends meet.
