Support Our Dad as We Say Goodbye to Our Mom

Help Our Dad Take Time To Grieve with Family During Our Mom’s Final Days.

Our family is going through the most painful and tender moment we’ve ever faced. Our incredible mom has entered hospice care, and doctors have told us that she may only have about a week left with us. We are holding onto every moment, surrounding her with love, and trying to be fully present as we prepare to say goodbye. Our dad has been by her side every step of the way — as her partner, her caregiver, and her best friend. The bond they share is something truly special, and the thought of life without her is something none of us are ready for, especially him. Our dad owns his own landscaping business, which means taking time off comes at a real cost. There’s no paid leave or person that can manage his crew other than him — hes still working but, even so, we want him to feel like he has more security taking additional time off work to be there with her on days where being away feels extra hard. It’s heartbreaking to see our dad carry the emotional weight of losing the love of his life while also emotionally supporting his children.  This support would allow him to take a step back from work, be fully present with our mom during her final days, and begin to heal with his children — without having to face all of this alone. We’re deeply grateful for any contribution or simply sharing this with others. Thank you for holding our family in your hearts during this incredibly difficult time.
