Running the NYC marathon to support the homeless
Tax deductible
Hello everyone!
In November I will be running the New York City Marathon in support of the Bowery Residents Committee (BRC) a nonprofit organisation dedicated to helping people reclaim their lives from homelessness, mental illness, and addiction in NYC.
I remember promising myself when I was running my first 10k at university in Manchester that I would never under any circumstances run that distance again. Many years and a pandemic later I am somehow preparing to do the whole 26.2 miles.
I am really excited* (anxious) to be running the marathon for the first time and would be extremely grateful if you could join me in supporting the more than 3000 people that the Bowery Resident Committee serve each day in New York.

Thank you!
