Support Nicole Lamkin and family in time of Sorrow

Mike (Lumpy) Lamkin, devoted husband of Nicole Lamkin and father of Josh (15) and Emma (12), passed away suddenly at the age of 49 on March 23, 2024. Mike was rushed to the ER on March 22nd with a headache and chills. After several tests, he was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. Unfortunately, medical intervention was unsuccessful. This is such a shock to his family and friends. To know Mike was to love him. He was a fun, talkative guy who loved his family and spending time with them. He loved the Florida State Seminoles (Class of 1997 and 1998) and his Boston Sports teams. Mike and Nicole, have over 40 years of classroom teaching combined and were both very passionate about educating our future. Mike taught physical education and he could be most often found in the school weight room. Dad's Taxi to swim and dance will be missed.
