Help Me Pursue My Dream Master’s in Europe
Spende geschützt
Dear friends,
My name is Neguse Solomon Mekonnen, and this year I was blessed with an incredible opportunity — I was accepted into the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program (EMJM NORISK), a prestigious European program in water and risk engineering.
This scholarship generously covers tuition and health insurance, for which I am deeply grateful. However, it does not cover living expenses — housing, food, and transport — which are essential for me to fully focus on my studies.
I will spend my first semester at the University of Padua in Italy and the second at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Catalonia, Spain. The program lasts one year, and having stability in these basic needs is crucial for my success.
Coming from a modest background, I have tried scholarships, applications, and even prepared for part-time work, yet a financial gap remains — one that could prevent me from seizing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
That’s why I am reaching out for your support. Every contribution, small or large, brings me closer to this dream and enables me to dedicate myself entirely to learning and growth.
I believe this program will equip me with knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in Ethiopia, addressing water and environmental challenges that affect our communities. Supporting me is not just supporting my education — it is investing in positive change that extends far beyond myself.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider helping me on this journey. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign is a gift in itself.
With gratitude,
Neguse Solomon Mekonnen
