Support Naeem’s freedom

My new friend Naeem has been held in a detention center on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea for the past 5 years. He was held there by the Australian government after escaping from the Taliban in Pakistan. He was finally released to be resettled in Philadelphia as a refugee. The refugee agency has provided an apartment and a food card, but he has no money. They will help him look for a job but there are no guarantees. He is suffering from PTSD and has a long, challenging road ahead of him. Until yesterday, he had no shoes other than sandals. There are a couple people like me who are committed to helping him but we cannot do it alone.
He is a kind young man with a masters degree in business and finance and I have no doubt he will eventually be successful. But being locked up for 5 years has taken its toll and he needs some temporary support.
Please consider supporting him by contributing to a fund that will help him with food, incidentals, warm clothes, cell phone, and therapy. No amount is too small. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
