This winter, while skiing at Alta, I was clipped by an out-of-control skier who didn’t stop after the collision. The impact left me with a severe ACL tear, and now I’m facing surgery to repair the damage. Unfortunately, complications with insurance have made this procedure and pre/ post op PT more expensive, as they aren’t covering as much as anticipated.

As an avid athlete, skiing and hiking have always been more than hobbies—they’re my passion and a big part of why I moved to Utah. Beyond that, I have a physically demanding job that’s now hindered due to this injury.
