Help a Family of Three Rebuild Their Home After Devastating Damage

Imagine sitting at home with your child when, out of nowhere, a car crashes into your house. For my small family of three—including our young son—this nightmare became a reality. The impact damaged the foundation, plumbing, and furnace, leaving our home unsafe and in desperate need of repair.

We did what anyone would do: turned to insurance. But after receiving funds, we were taken advantage of by an unscrupulous contractor who mismanaged the money and walked away, leaving us with a broken home and no way forward.

Now, months later, the damage continues to snowball. With gaps in the foundation and walls, squirrels and other animals are finding their way inside, causing even more destruction. The contractor took and sold the old furnace , our plumbing is unreliable, and we are heading into winter without a safe and secure place to live. The furnace being gone caused all the pipes to freeze and burst last winter leaving us without plumbing in parts of the house.

My family doesn’t want luxury—we just want to restore the basics: warmth, safety, and stability for our child. We need help purchasing supplies and covering repair costs to make our home livable again.
