Support Moose's Fight Against Bladder Cancer

We need your help! Our beloved Moose, an iconic figure in the LGBT+ community, is facing a tough battle with bladder cancer. For decades, Moose has been a beacon of joy, fun, hope, resilience, and empowerment for countless individuals in Central Florida. His tireless advocacy, courage, and unwavering commitment to equality have touched the lives of so many.

Now, Moose needs us more than ever. Despite his strength and determination, medical expenses are piling up, and the road to recovery is daunting. As friends, family, and admirers, it's our turn to rally around Moose and show our support in his time of need.

The costs of cancer can range from $15,000 up to well over $100,000 depending on the type of cancer and how far along the cancer the progressed. Although Moose has insurance that will cover much of the cost, it doesn't cover other things associated with it such as increased medications and medical supplies, transportation to and from treatment centers and overages caused by caps on coverage.

Almost half of the LGBTQ+ population lives under the federal poverty line, a place where our friend Moose also finds himself, being on disability. 20% of all his medical bills must be covered by what little he gets from disability. This makes the added stress of dealing with cancer very difficult to endure not only financially, but also emotionally and spiritually.
