With her hard work and dedication, Mira has earned a seat in the U23 Rowing Canada women's 8 and the team is heading to Poland to race at the 2025 U23 World Championships mid-July. We are thrilled she has been able to find success in something she loves and she is hoping for financial support from her extended community to help fund her trip and competition.

As a development athlete, there is very limited funding and athletes are required to cover the majority of their trip. The trip will cost around $5000 and she will receive $2700 in funding from the University of Washington, and is aiming to raise up to another $2300 to go towards the trip.

At 19, Mira raced in the 2023, (photo included here) U23 women's 8 and stroked the boat to a unexpected bronze medal finish, as the team was coming from an underdog position!

Mira just completed her third year at the University of Washington where she won silver at the 2025 NCAA's.
