My name is Krystyn Rosenow. I am raising funds on behalf of MeggyLou. She is a super sweet rescue that we adopted at the end of 2023. She loves to cuddle and go on walks. Her favorite toys are bottles that crunch and squeak.

We found out that she was born with Ectopic Ureter. Ectopic Ureter causes MeggyLou to drip urine—she is not aware that she does this. To help, she has a very awesome wardrobe that we created to help contain her incontinence. She is also on estrogen to help lessen the flow of urine.

Lately, complications of the Ectopic Ureter and incontinence have escalated to Stage One Kidney Disease and chronic bacterial infections. The specialist doctor from MedVet told us that she is a candidate for a surgical procedure called a Nephrectomy, where her damaged kidney would be removed. Like humans, dogs can live with one kidney. This will end the Ectopic Ureter and the complications like kidney disease and chronic infections. It will also save her undamaged kidney from getting infected as well. Please help us defray some of the cost of MeggyLou’s procedure and post-surgical care.
