Support Marian's Family Through Tough Times

Until his death last November, my dad consistently helped the kids and me make ends meet. Marian and I have managed to limp along these past few months, but without another source of support aside from my paycheck, we've finally reached a breaking point.

Rent is current for June, but July will be extremely difficult, and we will likely run out of money for food and gas. I make too much money to qualify for any assistance, but not enough to continue past June with any safe-footing at all.

I've had to delay necessary maintenance on my 20+ year old vehicle (it needs a windshield wiper arm, AC repair, and more), and I was unable to renew my tag on time.

I am significantly behind on bills, most urgently my personal storage unit, which is in danger of foreclosure and which contains items like my mother's wedding dress, precious family photos, and my grandmother's China.

Marian's childcare provider and dance studio have been tremendously kind in allowing her to stay during this time. They've worked with me, in spite of my inability to pay, but I need to make those accounts current before the new school year begins.

Daddy always did everything in his power to support his grandchildren and ensure they had a good quality of life, even when my income didn't allow for it. He shouldn't have had to do it, but he did, out of love and I think because he believed it was the right thing to do.
