Support 'Losing Lydia' - A College Thesis Film

'Losing Lydia' will be the final student film brought to you by three Ithaca College seniors! Josephine Hampton is our director and writer, Mia Valencia is producing with Vanessa Donovan as our Director of Photography.

The film is a story of two friends. For one, it is a coming of age story. For the other, it is the end of her story. Though the film has many supernatural elements, at its core, it is one of friendship and growing pains as Abigail, our lead, learns to navigate life without her best friend for the first time.

Funding for this film will go directly towards paying for filming locations, props, feeding the cast and crew, and paying for post production music, sound and editing.

Logline: High School basketball star, Lydia, suddenly and tragically passes away during one of the biggest matches of the season. Her best friend and teammate Abigail has weekly dinners with Lydia’s parents to help them cope. One night, Abigail visits Lydia’s room, but everything is not as it seems.
