Welcome to Florida Fossilized: A Prehistoric Frontier! We are an educational organization that is designed to bring an engaging and immersive natural history experience to communities across the state of Florida. Our main program, being our mobile museum, utilizes hundreds of authentic Florida-native fossils, museum quality replicas, ancient artifacts, and even full scale skeletons! The mobile museum takes you through over 55 million years of deep time as you learn about early Florida wildlife such as mammoths, saber-toothed cats, giant ground sloths, and other bizarre prehistoric wonders!
Our mission is to provide an innovative way of telling the ancient stories of the Sunshine State. The Florida Fossilized team is dedicated to inventing ways to enhance our exhibitions to provide our communities with an experience comparable to that of visiting a large museum. With your help, we plan to construct different types of media to add to our existing exhibition to give our guests the best experience possible! Additionally, we intend to use funds to help flesh our museum collection to add specimens to under-represented areas of deep time.
