Support Lisa and Her Young Families Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Kim, and I am setting this up for my son and his beautiful wife, Lisa. Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal cancer in January and as a result, had to give up her job due to ongoing surgeries, intensive chemotherapy, and dealing with all the side effects from her treatments.

The world came to a screeching halt when I was told that my daughter-in-law had cancer. She’s Lisa; she doesn’t get cancer, she CAN’T get cancer; she’s one of the strongest people I know! I know she and my son are going to need help in the months to come to get through this. The world is better with her and her family in it!

Lisa and my son have 3 children, all under 7, and one of them is non-verbal autistic. This brings its own daily life challenges, living off one income. To add to the strain, there is no government assistance, so they are on their own. Lisa has already undergone ostomy surgery along with chemotherapy with many surgeries and further treatment to come over the next several months. With medications and travel, the costs are adding up.

My son works very hard for his family and his country as a member of the US Armed Forces, but because of his military commitment combined with the various doctors’ appointments, options for additional income are difficult and hard to come by. Please help Lisa, my son, and their young family in this most difficult time. When a person has cancer, it impacts everyone in their life. Thank you for your support and donations.
