Support Liberian Youth & Small Businesses
Spende geschützt
I am raising money to expand a small Empowerment Fund that supports small businesses and young people to impact their communities. I formed the Cornelia Kruah Togba Empowerment Fund in 2018 after I ran for Liberia’s House of Representatives. The campaign was a great learning opportunity to hear the frustrations and aspirations of ordinary Liberians and think more extensively about how to make life better for the many.
One of the greatest lessons I took from the campaign trail was that a reasonable society should believe in—and cultivate—the potential of every citizen. The Cornelia Kruah Togba Empowerment Fund is my own contribution to cultivating the potential of some of those I met, some of those whose stories invited me to act.
I am inviting you to help cultivate these potentials. Any amount is a statement of your belief and will go a long way in empowering people to transform their lives and communities.
With your support, we will expand investments to support small businesses and empower young people. We provide low-interest loans to help small businesses grow. We also provide regular strategic business training to build internal capacity to manage growth and access external opportunities. We help students with school supplies and provide grants to implement projects to improve their learning environment. We host two education summits every year for students to learn skills, network, and be inspired to transform their communities.
What We Have Done So Far
Provided financial aid to five students
Provided financial support to youth recreational activities
Provided financial support for student engagement programs
Provided academic materials for students
We need your help to do more.
