Dear friends, family and supporters of the Bunch family:

As many of you know, Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2020. It was stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma and has been fighting this horrible disease ever since. She had many rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, many rounds of radiation and immunotherapy until December of 2021. She then finished with a hysterectomy in February of 2021 since she is BCRA1 positive, she had a high chance of ovarian cancer.

In January of 2024 we learned the cancer came back and spread to her lungs. She had a CT scan, then a Pet scan, and then a biopsy determined she now has stage 4 metastatic triple negative breast cancer. It came back very aggressive and harder to treat and will be starting treatment soon.

Since then it has spread to her liver, bones, abdomen, lymph nodes, brain. She has had multiple brain radiation, and radiation to her spine. She has been through 7 lines of chemotherapy and is currently on Trodelvy. She is fighting so very hard.

We need prayers for miraculous healing while receiving treatments. She will be doing treatments indefinitely.

We also will be starting a meal train since she will be very sick again and unable to cook for her family. Gift cards are great too, so they can get something on the way to and from treatments.
