Support Lara Hicks' Fight Against Cancer

My name is Lara Hicks. I am a wife and mother of two, and I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 thyroid cancer. I need to have several medical therapies performed to reduce and hopefully help to cure my cancer. The cancer has spread to my lymph nodes near my left ear. I am working continuously to do everything recommended by my medical advisers to boost my immune system through a proper cancer-fighting diet. I have recently learned that my thyroid is alive and functioning, and I am praying that it will remain to do so. I have the opportunity to receive stem cell therapy along with several other treatments to beat this thyroid cancer, and I am hoping to raise the money to do so. The potential life-saving procedures that I have chosen to participate in are not covered by my insurance and must be paid out-of-pocket.
