Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out on behalf of our Laketa, a mother, sister, friend, and prayer warrior who is courageously fighting breast cancer. Laketa has always been a pillar of strength and love for those around her, but now she needs our help more than ever.

Her Journey: In March of 2024 Laketa was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma – Breast Cancer. This diagnosis came as a shock to all of us, turning her world upside down. Despite the challenges, Laketa has faced this battle with incredible bravery and grace. She has already undergone 6 rounds of chemotherapy and still has a long road ahead with surgery, radiation and countless other medical procedures.

The Need: While Laketa continues to fight this battle, the financial burden has become overwhelming. The costs associated with her treatment, medications, frequent hospital visits, during this time are mounting at an astronomical rate. There are a significant amount of expenses for CT/PET scans, MRI, bone scans, monthly echograms, medications, immunotherapy, special dietary needs and so much more, that are quickly adding up.

The Goal: We are reaching out to our community to raise $50,000 to help cover some of these expenses so that Laketa can focus entirely on her recovery.
