Support Kristy Moser's Fight for Sole Custody

Hello, my name is Kristy Moser, and I am humbly asking for help for my boys and I. Sadly, I have had to get a protection order against their father and will be fighting for sole custody of our three sons. Historically, their father and I have shared custody 50/50 with no child support. As of right now, his parental time has been suspended for two weeks until we go back to court again. My kids are terrified of their father and tell me how scared they are of going back to his house.

As some of you know, I am in nursing school and work part-time as an aide at one of the local hospitals. All my money has been spent on nursing school and paying my monthly bills. Unfortunately, the lawyer I am trying to retain is asking for $5000.00 upfront. I have no savings, as I spent my savings on a down payment for our house.

I am asking for as much help as possible. I am sure the retainer fee will only last for so long, and I will incur more legal fees. I will fight as long as it takes to keep my kids safe.
