My name is Angela Perry, and my husband Brian and I met Kirk eight years ago while attending a live music performance in Memphis. Little did we know how connected Kirk was to the music scene and the bands, friends, and people he would introduce us to over the next eight years. Kirk is more than a friend; he is our family and loved by so many. It is with a heavy heart that we share Kirk’s unfortunate and unexpected health issues have put him in the ICU, and today, January 10, 2025, marks his 27th day in the hospital, 25 of which in the ICU.

Kirk's brother has been front and center every day, managing not only the hospital aspect but also maintaining Kirk’s personal finances, home, and bills to ensure that he has a life to come back to with some sense of normalcy. Needless to say, this has been emotionally and financially draining on Kirk’s brother.
