On October 2, 2025, at only 22 weeks into their pregnancy, Kennadi and Maverick welcomed Briar Marie and Luke Wayne into this world a lot sooner than expected. Even with the doctors doing everything they can, God had other plans, and they lost Briar on October 3rd. Right now, Luke is stable and will be in the NICU for at least a few months. Kennadi had to have an emergency C-section and will not be able to return to work for at least a few weeks. Both Maverick and Kennadi have spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital.

This is the best way I feel I can help being so far away, and neither of them are good at asking for help, even when they need it.

They plan on doing a private memorial and burial for their sweet Briar Marie and will have medical bills on top of their normal bills every month.
