Support Kelli in her Fight Against Leukemia!

Hello all,

I was recently diagnosed with Ph+ Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) during routine bloodwork as Jason and I started our fertility journey. Fortunately, I was fairly asymptomatic and able to stay healthy enough to pursue fertility egg preservation prior to starting chemotherapy with close monitoring and great support from my medical team. I am now headed to start chemotherapy and it looks like a long road ahead. I've had great support from my fiance, family, friends, coworkers and so many more - thank you.

Unfortunately, treatment for ALL is a marathon and not a sprint, and I've been told that I will be unable to work for at least one year while receiving treatment. For treatment and logistical reasons, I've chosen to receive care at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City (one of the top cancer centers in the world and where my older sister works). Treatment and care will consist of admissions to the inpatient hospital, multiple, frequent clinic visits, medications, chemotherapy, dressing changes, bloodwork, transfusions, bone marrow biopsies, etc.

The fertility medications were covered by foundation support (!), but the cost of the visits, ultrasounds, egg retrieval procedure and storage over that 2 week process had to be covered personally. Donations made here will help with extensive medical bills, copays, deductibles, facilitate transportation, and ongoing living expenses (rent, bills, food, pet care, etc).
