Rainy Season Hunger Relief for the Nuba Mountains

Purpose: Provide urgent food aid to famine-affected families—especially children—during the critical rainy season before harvest, when food supplies are most scarce.

Objectives:

1. Raise $ to purchase and deliver emergency food baskets containing sorghum, beans, cooking oil, and salt for at least 1,000 families in the Nuba Mountains.

2. Prioritize Children and Vulnerable Groups by ensuring at least 60% of aid directly benefits children under 12, pregnant women, and elderly people at risk of severe malnutrition.

3. Bridge the Hunger Gap Before Harvest by supplying a two-month food supply to each targeted household, sustaining them through the rainy season until crops are ready for harvest.

4. Engage Global Solidarity by reaching at least 50,000 people online with stories, images, and updates from affected communities to inspire donations and advocacy.

5. Ensure Accountability and Transparency by publishing weekly impact updates showing funds raised, aid delivered, and personal stories from recipient families.
