Support Kayla and Kids After House Fire

my name is Kara Holden. I am raising money for Kayla Hiott.

this money will be SPECIFICALLY USED FOR RENT PAYMENT ON KAYLAS NEW HOME AFTER HER HOUSE FIRE AS WELL AS PURCHASING NEW CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO REPLACE ITEMS DAMAGED IN THE FIRE. To include underwear, shirts, pants, tops, diaper, linens, pillows, furniture.

FOR GOFUNDME PURPOSES: this is a fundraiser in which the proceeds will go towards Jayla Hiott to aid in paying her rent on her new home and purchasing new household goods after her fire. Kayla is the beneficiary of these funds which will be deposited directly to her account from go fund me as she is the beneficiary is go fund me will quit holding her money hostage. My relationship to Kayla hiott is that I am her friend, and these monies will be going to her in assistance after her fire.

The night hurricane Helene hit, Kayla Hiott was working as a 911 dispatcher. During that shift she found out her home with her 3 young kids inside was on fire. When she arrived smoke was billowing out, but thank God the children were safe. The firemen told Kayla after the fire was out how lucky they were that the kids weren’t in the front of the house. Had they been, things could’ve ended very differently.

The house is still standing, but not longer habitable. Not one week after paying the mortgage, Kayla will have to put a deposit on a new rental home. Not to mention all of their things are significantly smoke damaged.

In order to provide Kayla and her kids a leg in the right direction, please consider donating some to help them relocate and get settled into their new home. All proceeds will go directly to Kayla and the kids and Kayla is aware and has given me permission to start this fund raiser.
