As many of you know… this is Karma Girl, and her life hasn’t been the easiest. (Full story posted later)

I’m leaving for two weeks and haven’t been able to find an adopter or foster for Karma. So, the rescue Frat of the 4 Paws and I are trying to raise money for a board-and-train program to help her during this time.

Sweet Karma is such a love bug—but that’s also part of her struggle. She loves other dogs so much that she doesn’t always understand boundaries. When a dog is done playing, Karma doesn’t quite get it. On walks, she tries to charge and pull just to say hi to other dogs. But in public, this can come off as scary—even though all she really wants is to give kisses .

During her board-and-train, we want to focus on helping Karma:

• Live peacefully with other dogs

• Learn to relax and coexist without constant play

• Improve her leash skills

• Gain confidence and become the perfect version of the dog she already is—because she truly is someone’s soul dog

Karma was found as a stray in Atlanta after having a litter. She was skin and bones. When animal control came to get her, people were throwing rocks at her. At the shelter, she developed severe kennel stress and was put on the euthanasia list. She’s had a couple short-term fosters who had nothing but amazing things to say about her—but she kept ending up back at the shelter and back on that list.

That’s when Frat of the 4 Paws and I stepped in to save her.

Karma deserves a home. She deserves a last name. And she deserves to be able to roam free around other dogs without worry.
