Rob Reich—a Bay Area musical legend, beloved collaborator, kind soul, and devoted father—passed away unexpectedly this mid-May 2025. His presence reverberated through the community, not only through his extraordinary musical talent but through his deep generosity, humor, and humanity.

From Gaucho Jazz and Circus Bella, to Lord Loves a Working Man, Rococo Risqué, solo gigs at Zuni Café, countless nights at Amnesia, and dozens of other unforgettable projects, Rob infused the Bay Area arts scene with magic. His music was whimsical, soulful, and alive—a true extension of the joy and depth he brought to everyone who knew him.

Rob's passing is a heartbreaking loss to the community—but most profoundly, to his beloved daughter, June Mabel Price, who turns 16 this summer.

We are a group of Rob’s friends, collaborators, and fans coming together to honor his legacy by supporting the person he loved most: June. A brilliant and resilient young human, June has already completed high school and is currently excelling in community college. Her dream is to attend a four-year university and continue her path of growth, learning, and contribution.

Rob was incredibly proud of June—and we are too. We want to ensure that she has the support she needs to chase her dreams and build a bright future.

The Rob Reich Memorial Fund has been created to help cover June’s college tuition, housing, and living expenses. This is our way of carrying forward Rob’s spirit of generosity, creativity, and love—by investing in the next generation he helped raise.
