Elderly man taken advantage of when in medical distress

Hi my name is Michael, I am doing this for my father John Agosta. WSVN 7 news story link at the end.

On a Friday afternoon about 3 weeks ago, my mother who lives in the same condo community as my father calls me. She was at my fathers door and he was not coming to the door. She has a key as do I, but she did not have it with her.

I told her to call security and get them to find out if my father was inside (possibly dead, which was our concern).

The security director came and told my mother that earlier in the dad my father had fallen outside of his condo. He then informed her that He and the condo assoc. building director had search my father car and home for his weapon.

The condo assoc. building director said they were concerned for his safety and others so they under took an illegal search as private citizen of my father property. The Security Director told my mother he had taken my fathers bullets.

Both the Security Director and condo assoc. building director then entered my father condo again for a 2nd search this time making my mother think it was of importance.

My mother called me when they were doing this. I told her to get them out of my father condo, they never had a reason to be in there looking for his weapon.

This was all Friday.

On Sat afternoon I drive across the state and get to my fathers condo around 5ish, stop in checked the cats, had a heated conversion with the Security Director letting him know how upset I was about the search.

My father place was well all over the place, and in my over view I noticed the safe had been emptied. I saw some of what was in the safe in his room near a silver case, but did not have time to go into it as I when to see my father in the Hospital.

When I got back to my fathers later that night I started looking into what was what and most of my father silver American Eagle rolls were gone, all his Morgan Silver Dollars were gone, all his graded coins, just gone.

And I will be honest here I know my father had ALOT of silver American eagle rolls, I just never thought it my business. So I dont know exactly what he had.

The police were called on sunday morning, by my mother or sister, I forget as I would have but I was having a full blown break down. I am a 100% service connected U.S. Army Iraq Combat Vet and my PTSD was out of control, the police almost called EMS for me.

We got Detective Comley from the Coconut Creek P.D. working the case. She made an arrest of both Don and O'Neil on Monday April 8, for the illegal search of my father condo car and theft of the bullets so far.

So as of now, my fathers keys that the Security director said he had with my father car key condo key and mail box key are now missing. My father had to get the car re keyed so the old now missing keys do not work.

And we now need help, my father and I need to get a lawyer and sue Wynmoor, 2 people that represent Wynmoor did things they should not have, but as my father just had his whole life saving stolen(The police will hopefully find out by who), paying for a lawyer is going to be hard.

I am turning to GOFUNDME as I dont know what to do, my father was taken advantage of at a time he need help the most, no one should have to go through this nightmare and my hope is there are some kind hearted people still out in the world that can help with my father legal expenses for this unwanted, horrible and disgusting situation he is now in.

I will keep this updated as the case moves forward.
