Jody Lee is a singer, songwriter, broadcaster, and a true friend to the Texas / Red Dirt community. Over the years, he has promoted the music, the people, and the spirit of our industry, always lending a hand and a voice to those around him. Now, Jody is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life—a critical surgical procedure on his heart known as LVAD, which is necessary until he can receive a transplant. This massive procedure will require him to spend a month in the ICU and then receive 24-hour care during his recovery.

Because of the catastrophic nature of this surgery, Jody will be unable to work for an extended period. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward his day-to-day expenses, medical bills, and the aftercare he needs to regain his strength.
