Help Our Brother Start Fresh in New Orleans
From Jackson to New Orleans, Let’s Help Him Plant New Roots
We are three sisters, bonded not just by love but by a shared dream: to see our brother finally settle into a life that honors his strength, talent, and unwavering resilience.
Our brother recently landed a full-time position at Saks Fifth Avenue in New Orleans—a milestone that fills us with pride and hope. He’s worked so hard to get here. This opportunity is not just a job; it’s a new beginning. A fresh chapter. A chance to thrive.
But right now, he’s facing a gap between potential and stability.
That’s where this GoFundMe comes in.
We are humbly asking for help to raise $5,000 to support:
- First and last month's rent for a safe, clean apartment in New Orleans.
- Moving costs and essentials to help him transition smoothly into his new space.
- Basic furnishings and setup, so he can rest and recharge in a place of his own.

Why This Means So Much
Our brother, Jehrod, is originally from Jackson, Mississippi—a place that shaped his grit and grace. But like many, he’s experienced seasons of uncertainty, transition, and sacrifice. Through it all, he’s remained generous, dependable, and full of heart.
We’ve seen how much he’s poured into others, often putting his own needs aside. Now, with this new opportunity in New Orleans, we want to pour back into him.
"Help Our Brother Build His New Beginning in New Orleans"
We are three sisters reaching out with full hearts, asking for your support in helping our big brother Jehrod take the next big step in his journey.
Jehrod has always carried himself with grace, humor, and ambition. He recently landed a job at Saks Fifth Avenue in New Orleans—a huge milestone in his journey. Now, we want to ensure he has a safe, stable place to call home as he starts this exciting chapter.

Ever since our mother, Rosemary Pinkston, passed from breast cancer in 2002, Jehrod has always been a source of strength and continued inspiration for us.
His big dream is to eventually move to New York City, but we've seen how much he has grown and enjoyed living in New Orleans since he moved there last year. We don't want Jehrod to have to move back to Mississippi. We want to see him continue to grow and thrive in this new role as a Luxury Style Advisor at Saks.
However, this isn't just about rent.
It's about restoring dignity, creating a foundation, and giving someone who’s given so much to others the chance to thrive.
From childhood laughter on church pews to late-night talks about dreams, Jehrod has always been the glue that binds us.
We want nothing more than to give him a chance at such an amazing opportunity and here's where you can help.
If you can give—thank you.
If you can share—thank you even more.
Every act of love helps.
We want him to walk into his own apartment after work, close the door behind him, and feel peace.
We want him to know he’s held by community, loved beyond measure, and that it’s okay to receive.

Here's What Your Gift Will Do
Your donation—no matter the size—will directly impact our brother’s ability to stabilize, focus, and flourish. You’re not just giving money. You’re giving security, confidence, and the quiet dignity of having a place to call home.
We will keep you updated every step of the way, and we look forward to sharing the joy of his move with you all.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. With your help, our brother can take this big, brave step forward—with love, community, and a little bit of magic.
With deep gratitude,
His Sisters
Christine, Jasmine, and Diamond
