Support Janice's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Hello!

My name is Samantha Rodvelt, and I have an army of people behind me with a common goal. Myself, as well as Janice’s daughters, Linsey (Eric) and Kasey, and her son Alec, have a goal to raise the funds needed for Janice to undergo a procedure called The NanoKnife Procedure. This procedure was designed to kill liver and pancreatic cancer cells that are typically hard to reach.

In April of 2023, Janice went jaundice. After weeks of worry, we got the news that she had pancreatic cancer. Since then, Janice has gone through chemo and radiation treatments to shrink her tumor. Unfortunately, her tumor has not changed and she did not qualify for the Whipple, which would have been a life saving procedure for her. Janice’s tumor is inoperable using traditional methods because her tumor is encasing (or wrapped around) a major artery. The NanoKnife is a noninvasive procedure that uses electric pulses to kill cancer cells, and unfortunately, it is one of the last “next steps” Janice has. She has already maxed out of radiation and continues to take chemotherapy drugs, but her side effects are and will continue to increase in severity.

Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by insurance, so we need your help. When her son had cancer, she supported him every step of the way, and we want to make sure we can do that for her. Janice will need to travel to Florida, obtain housing during her stay, and finally, travel home. She may also need to travel to and from Florida for follow up care depending on the services available to her at the local hospitals.

Please help Linsey, Eric, Alec, Kasey, and myself make this possible for Janice. Each one of us, and each of her grandkids (soon to be 7) would like to say thank you in advance to each and every one of you for liking, sharing, donating, or simply saying a prayer to help make this happen for her.
