Support Jaime’s Fight Against Aggressive Breast Cancer
From Jessica:
Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m writing this on behalf of my triplet sister, Jaime. Recently, Jaime was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Our family is still processing the shock and fear of this news. I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help with Jaime’s medical expenses and financial needs as she begins this difficult journey. Anything you can contribute — big or small — will make a meaningful difference.
Things are moving very quickly, as doctors want to act as soon as possible to give Jaime the best chance at recovery. Below is a message from Jaime herself, sharing what’s ahead:

From Jaime:
Hello,
The past few days have been overwhelming — it feels like I’ve had to make life-changing decisions overnight. Right now, this is the plan:
Because I have triple-negative aggressive breast cancer, my doctors recommend removing both breasts. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts and the urgency of my situation, that surgery can’t happen right away. Instead, I’ll be having a lumpectomy soon — hopefully within the next week — to remove the tumor and affected lymph nodes. Those lymph nodes will be tested to see if the cancer has spread.
During surgery, they’ll also place a port so I can begin five months of chemotherapy. After chemo, I’ll undergo another surgery to remove both breasts and begin reconstructive surgery.
I’m disappointed — I had hoped to have one surgery and be done — but I know this is the best plan to fight for my life. Even after surgery, this type of cancer can return elsewhere, but removing my breasts will lower that risk.
I’m scared. I’m worried. But I’m also grateful — grateful that we caught this early, and grateful to have a chance to fight. I want to live. I know there will be good days and bad days, and I know I’ll lose my hair — but I’ll also never lose hope.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. It means the world to me.
With love,
Jaime
