Hi, I’m Holly, a professional dog trainer and animal rescue founder with 11 years of experience helping the most challenging cases—especially Shepherds, Malinois, and misunderstood mixed breeds. 

I dont know many people who would disagree- Dogs are Family.

I’m launching a rural dog training initiative with a powerful mission: to stop dogs from being dumped or surrendered simply because their humans can’t afford help.

In our rural community, we’re facing a quiet crisis.

One of the leading reasons people surrender their dogs to shelters or must rehome their dogs is due to the substantial cost of dog training, especially when it pertains to behavioral challenges (barking, digging, jumping, stranger-danger..etc..). Many people have or are currently struggling financially in this tough economy, but that shouldn't keep them from accessing training.

Families are making the heartbreaking choice to give up their dogs—not because they don’t love them, but because they can’t afford training, behavioral help, or basic support. Local rescues are overwhelmed. Shelters are full. And dogs who could have lived long, happy lives in loving homes are being lost.

That's where this project comes in.

We’re creating a “Pay What You Can” Dog Training Program based in the heart of our rural community. It’s designed for the families who love their dogs but are out of options. Whether they can pay a little or nothing at all, they’ll get real help—no judgment, just help.

By helping dogs stay in their homes:

• We reduce the pressure on rescues and shelters.

• We prevent dogs from being euthanized or abandoned.

• We empower families with skills and confidence.

• We create a more compassionate and educated community.

• Community humane education programs, where we teach: husbandry, the importance of vaccines/spay/neuter/microchips, how to read basic K9 body language, proper canine interactions for kids and adults, basic handling skills, feed and water requirements- education that a LOT of undeserved communities are lacking due to minimal available information. Sometimes, certain areas of "neglect" are purely a lack of education. If we can get more information out to the undeserved communities, we can not only reduce intake at already-overwhelmed shelters, but we can assist owners in providing better welfare and more engaging lives for their pets.

This isn't just about training dogs—it's about saving lives and keeping families together. We want to make training accessible and affordable for the every day owner.
